Dear Molalla Community,
From Oct. 22 - Nov. 1, 2019, The Molalla River School District (MRSD) engaged the community regarding the question, “How are we doing, and where do we need to improve?” We asked this question as part of our year-long process regarding our application for funding from the recently passed Student Success Act (SSA) which allocates approximately $1 billion annually to Oregon’s public schools.
We used “Thoughtexchange” and 291 of you participated. You provided 210 comments, and together, these comments received over 5472 ratings from participants. Each comment was read and the broad themes and ratings have been compiled in a report linked below. The groupings are designed to identify areas of shared vision around community priorities.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Thoughtexchange. The next broad communication regarding MRSD’s application for SSA funding will be in early 2020 when we share the first draft of our application for Student Success Act funding.
I’d like to personally thank everyone for participating. There will be additional opportunities in the future to engage and we look forward to hearing more from you.
Sincerely,
Tony Mann
Superintendent
